This started as a wild experiment, but here's a conversion of the Cleric Beast model as a sort of an outfit for Sims 4.
Model was extracted by tokami-fuko on deviantart, but was kinda unfinished.
I will eventually make maxis match fur to go with the costume. Eventually.
Includes:
- Body outfit (found in full body outfits)
- Hat \ mask \ head (found in hats)
I had to do it the outfit + head \ hat way because it was giving me so many explosions as is, sadly. If i figure out how to do it as a full outfit WHILE keeping it BGC, i'll update this post.
Features:
- 2 swatches (slightly lighter and slightly darker)
- creepy
- sort of supports weight sliders?
- custom icon
- disabled for random
- I did my best to add weights, so the mouth sort of opens and closes when the sim talks
Issues:
- Looks a bit uncanny valley
- Textures are definitely not maxis match, and idk how to make them so without repainting the whole thing like I did with Valkorion's robes, and there's only 2 swatches for the same reason: I'm not sure how to recolor these without them looking kinda bad.
- Some weight painting might be janky because the hands are a bit bigger than those of a regular sim
- claws regularly clip through palms
- I kind of has to sacrifice all of the fur because I don't really know how to do transparency, and the model is pretty high poly as it is. I will do fur and mane similar to maxis hair down the line, so yea the beast is a bit naked right now.
