I noticed that this earring had a case of inside out normals so I made an override package that replaces the mesh with a fixed mesh. I also made a version of the earring for the other ear, and a version for both ears.
Features:
- Right ear override
- Left ear version
- Both ears versions
- should be disallowed for random except the default replacement
- Custom icons for the left ear and both ears versions
- All enabled for aliens and disabled for situation
Hi, thank you so much for fixing these! I've always loved this earring.✨I noticed though that the appearance of the hanging earring part has changed from what it was before. It looks more rounded instead of being a sharp triangle. I was wondering if it is possible to make a version with the fixed hook but original hanging part? I did find another creator who fixed it that way (aithsims4 on tumblr), but I love having your left side and both side options, and it would be awesome to keep them in my game and have them match. :>
ReplyDeleteHey, that is probably an update thing, and I sadly can't help here because I haven't been able to update my game in a while. I'll see if my version has the new mesh.
DeleteIt's actually a really simple edit, I just took the earring mesh, put it in Blender, selected everything in edit mode, and went to face > normals > flip normals. If the updated mesh has the same error that should fix it.
for the both ears version I just took the earring and added a mirror modified in object mode and hit apply. And for other ear version you can take that mesh that has both ears and delete the part for the other ear.
I'm really sorry I can't update it myself.
